UTMB Spring 2017

Hello to all! I am applying to UTMB in Galveston for the Spring 2017 start. I have not seen any posts about this particular semester, so I thought I would reach out. Any body applying, gotten information, how was your TEAS test, pre-reqs, etc.?

I look forward to hearing from everyone!

Personally, this is my second degree as I have my first in Business Management & Entrepreneurial Studies. My mom is a nurse and has inspired me in so many ways, and I am excited to see where this journey leads me.

I made an 82.7% on my TEAS V and I am pretty nervous about this as I am not too sure how it compares or what the norm is. I hope everyone is having good luck in their application process and let me know how it is going for ya'll?

    I wonder if they have any spots left. I guess I will go ahead and start the next application. This was my first time to apply. I hope we hear something soon.

    I'm not sure where Sophielopez is getting info that there are no spots left. Could you clarify? As far as I know, my interview was Aug 10 and I haven't heard any word about acceptance, denial or wait list. It sounds like maybe those that are being considered for waitlist are the ones that haven't had interviews yet. Has anyone had an interview with UTMB already and gotten an email about waitlist?

    Well, I received a denial email a few days ago. So far I've been waitlisted for Fall 2016 and denied for Spring 2017, I don't know if I'll should reapply for summer or give up. :(

    I got a call from Irma Garcia last Friday for an interview for the wait list. Something is better than nothing, I'm going in for my interview tomorrow morning!

    From what I've 'heard' from previous application periods is that if you have already interviewed and haven't heard back is that you're on the top of the waiting list. Could be wrong, it's just what I've heard

    I got an e-mail , this is what it says:

    "we are pleased to announce that you have been selected to interview for admission to the BSN traditional program for Spring 2017 Wait List. (They made sure to bold that). At the current time, all positions have been filled, however, we expect to have some openings in the future and would like to consider you for our program...... etc."

    Interesting. I called yesterday to inquire as I interviewed on August 12th and haven't heard anything. I specifically asked if all positions had been filled and they said "no, we are still interviewing." I stated that I have been following this forum and one person said she was asked to interview but for the wait list specifically. She said they are still conducting interviews for both the wait list and open slots. I'm confused to say the least.
