Parking Rates - Parking Services - UTHealth You can't get parking until you have done the steps as an uploading immunizations, titers, BLS, getting all holds off, insurance hold off, etc. (so cant do reserved parking honestly) Then once you get your ID, you can get parking spot as well since theyre in the same place, which is the tower of UTH- its on fannin street near TWU, you wont miss it lol and its on the first floor. Ummm, yeah hopefully theyre not full. Most people park at the South lot because its $40 a month & you'll always have a parking spot in South. Its never full.

I honestly bought binders for each class just to put my exam reviews there, I also got notebooks for each. Dont use them, just one. Make sure to get a planner. I guess it just depends what kind of student you are, I know others have different stuff

With financial aid, youre doing the same thing. Just like a regular fafsa, just add the school and MAKE SURE you dont have other schools added such as previous colleges because it will take longer. UTH itself will split your financial aid for summer fall, etc.

hopethishelps oh and when you see E-VALUE. Sharron will send you your login about 2 weeks after you get accepted :) this is where you will be uploading your immunization records, BLS, etc. criminal background and drug screening will be uploaded by the place you get it done. The ONLY place you can get each one done is on the link I provided. The criminal background (no need for fingerprinting), they just check records. Drug screening (you'll need to go somewhere, which the school itself UTH sets up. They set up an appointment for you and date and time) because they do it randomly to make sure you're not preparing for the drug screening

I am currently in my first semester. Our date for finalized acceptance/etc. was on Nov. 15. However, the first wave came out Oct. 20th, which was when I found out. IT WAS ON A THURSDAY so don't think it'll be only Mondays. They always give out the first wave like a month before. Keep checking! Good luck yall. Hope I get to meet all of you

Also heads up everyone!!! If you did not receive a transcript evaluation, it doesn't mean anything!! A lot of people got accepted without ever receiving one. But its good to call and ask if your classes are satisfied :) they also have a list of the accepted courses when you check the prerequisites.

UTHSC Summer 2017
Don't worry! I am currently taking pathophysiology, pharmacology, adult health care 1, and health assessment with one lab and clinicals finally start this upcoming week. It's intensive but the professors are EXTREMELY good and want you to pass so it makes life ten times easier. However, I don't have as much free time as I used to but I still have time to go on dates with my boyfriend or take a night off. However, you need to plan accordingly so you are not behind. There is never enough time, its best to go over what you learned that same day for at least an hour and then study for your upcoming test. It is very doable. However, it is only if you are a good planner. :)

UTHealth Nursing Spring 2017
Hello everyone! I haven't commented in a while but I have decided I wanted to give hopes to those who are waitlisted. One thing for sure, be happy you did not get denied as there were 1200 applicants this semester, which has been the most they have had in a REALLY long time. I know how bad the feeling is when you get waitlisted as I was waitlisted in another school. However, most of those who have gotten accepted have not even registered for classes (maybe like 10 have) and it is because most of us are taking the last few classes needed to even get in the program. EXAMPLE: I got accepted but I am not in the program yet, my acceptance is on hold until I pass two classes, which they have been such a death sentence for me but I am feeling good about it. Some people are even taking like 4 classes this semester. All I am saying is just to keep your hopes up and TRUST GOD. There is always a reason for everything. I failed my TEAS 5x and got denied at TWU and waitlisted at UTMB to just get accepted at UTHealth. Advice I give those who are waitlisted: APPLY FOR SUMMER PROGRAM ALREADY, THE APPLICATION IS FAIRLY CHEAP COMPARED TO OTHERS. ALSO, start on your immunizations, titers (there are TWO immunization worksheets; both look familiar but there are differences, print them out and get them started), background check, drug screening, cpr, etc. because if you get off the waitlist and have not done all of that, you will not be able to register for classes and that means you wont get in for Spring and will have to do the process all over again (as an applying). Good luck you guys!!
