UTMB Spring 2017

Hello to all! I am applying to UTMB in Galveston for the Spring 2017 start. I have not seen any posts about this particular semester, so I thought I would reach out. Any body applying, gotten information, how was your TEAS test, pre-reqs, etc.?

I look forward to hearing from everyone!

Personally, this is my second degree as I have my first in Business Management & Entrepreneurial Studies. My mom is a nurse and has inspired me in so many ways, and I am excited to see where this journey leads me.

I made an 82.7% on my TEAS V and I am pretty nervous about this as I am not too sure how it compares or what the norm is. I hope everyone is having good luck in their application process and let me know how it is going for ya'll?

    Well I guess it's good they are still doing interviews for the waiting list, because I haven't heard anything. Maybe soon!

    Also applying for UTMB Spring 2017 semester. I sent in my application on May 29th so I'm with the last batch is what ive been told after several times that ive called. I received an email about a week ago saying they were going to try and let us know by the end of the month but other than that I haven't heard anything from UTMB. No acceptance, denial, or waitlist. Anyone else in the same boat?

    What class did y'all take/are y'all taking to satisfy the 4 hours of Microbiology with Lab prerequisite? I'm particularly curious to know the exact TCCN for the course y'all used to fulfill this requirement.

    I used BIOL 2420 to satisfy mine. I took it at lonestar college university park. It was called medical microbiology

    I honestly haven't heard a thing from utmb of my acceptance, denial, or waitlist. But on mystar it says they've taken it so yes.

    I received an email saying that I'm on the waitlist. Does anyone know how likely it is to get in after being waitlisted? Or how many people they normally accept each semester? There seems to be know way to know if we're even remotely close =/
