UTMB Spring 2017

Hello to all! I am applying to UTMB in Galveston for the Spring 2017 start. I have not seen any posts about this particular semester, so I thought I would reach out. Any body applying, gotten information, how was your TEAS test, pre-reqs, etc.?

I look forward to hearing from everyone!

Personally, this is my second degree as I have my first in Business Management & Entrepreneurial Studies. My mom is a nurse and has inspired me in so many ways, and I am excited to see where this journey leads me.

I made an 82.7% on my TEAS V and I am pretty nervous about this as I am not too sure how it compares or what the norm is. I hope everyone is having good luck in their application process and let me know how it is going for ya'll?

    I'm applying to UT Health next. yes, I have to apply one at a time(depending on their app deadline) since I can't afford to apply at to many.

    My freshman year I had one semester that I just messed up grade wise. I had a bad roommate experience. I sure hope that doesn't disqualify me. I took the classes over and made A's and B's. I had originally made C's on 4 classes. I had a 83 on the TEAS and already have my CNA certification. My GPA due to the 4 C's is at a 3.25. I guess that is average too.

    Anyone from the last batch of interviews heard anything yet? I interviewed June 29 and still haven't gotten a response yet. This has been the longest 3 weeks ever! Lol

    For the most recent batch of interviews, we were given dates through August 2nd. I imagine they will send out some acceptance letters soon after that. I hope that helps!

    This is my second time applying, still no word.... Does anyone know if this is it, are the finished with the process? Is there still a chance? Please help me Im going nuts!

    I submitted on the last day as well, I was rewriting my personal statement. Im so worried, this is the onky school I really would like to attend.

    They sent me an email. They tell you what days are available. I received an email on 15th and had my interview on 20th.

    I emailed Elizabeth Botello about my application and she replied back promptly, about 2 hours later. She said they are still reviewing applications and will be doing so for the next 6-8 weeks. So hang in there guys!! As long as we didn't get a rejection letter, there is still hope!! Congrats to everyone who got in and who got interviewed!!
