UTMB Spring 2011

Congrats to everyone who received an email!!!!

I can't wait for the interview!!! After about two months of restless sleep, it finally feels like a dream come true!

The program I am in is four semesters (Fall 2010, Spring 2011, Fall 2011, Spring 2012). It differs from the spring start because y'all will have summer classes, while we have the summer off (Spring 2011, Summer 2011, Fall 2011, Spring 2012). Notice that we will both graduate in Spring 2012.

I was wondering, does anyone know when summer 2011 classes start? I know Spring 2011 ends in April, but am not to sure about the start date for summer 2011.

Hey, my Econnect still says pending. My wife actually graduated from UTMB a couple years ago and she said that even after getting her acceptance letter, it took weeks for her Econnect status to be updated. Therefore, I wouldn't rely on Econnect for the status of your application. You'll most likely hear from UTMB long before it is updated.

Just to remind you, the person I spoke with at UTMB did say if you don't receive word either way this week to not stress. They are going to be reviewing apps and sending out responses throughout the rest of the month. Though I am slightly relieved to already get word, I had already told myself to give it a few weeks before I started to stress.

If I receive an email to interview, does that mean I am guaranteed a spot in the nursing program or is that just the second stage of the selection process? To me it sounds like UTMB is picking several students to interview and depending on how we do in the interview will decide if they pick us or not.

Has anyone received an email notification of an interview or denial this week? I'm on pins and needles over here.

No official interviews have been scheduled as far as i know so i def wouldn't give up hope they are prob waiting to review all apps before sending official ones!!

Has anyone been accepted for early admissions to the traditional program?

Has anybody called and asked how Many people they are interviewing?
