Nov 10, 201015 yr ok...so i got my acceptance e-mail and wrote back saying that i accepted. i also got the official letter, but have not been offered to accept on e-connect...still says pending. is anyone else still waiting, or do i need to call? i know they said give it a week, but i saw that some of yall had already gotten the offer on e-connect. also, dinner sounds great, but my proud dad who is a nurse booked me on a cruise to go on before the semester starts, so if possible, could we do it before or after dec 12-19? he says i won't have time for a vacation after school starts, so i have to get one last vacation in..lol. on a side note...how is everyone doing with paperwork? ive gotten my immunizations done, cpr class booked, background check done, and finishing up micro! soooo excited!!!congratulations! Where are you going on your cruise?
Nov 10, 201015 yr jamaica, grand cayman, and cozumel! im so excited, but i told my dad that if school would just start tomorrow, i'd be soooo happy...lol. melanie12nicole, im so glad im not the only one still waiting! every time i get on and see pending, i yell at the computer! "it's not pending!!! i got accepted!!! change already!!!" lol
Nov 10, 201015 yr The SON doesn't have any push or say so in how fast it updates. They said it's all up to enrollment services. SON sends over their decision and whenever enrollment services gets to it, is when it'll change. The person I talked to said enrollment services likes to take their time. Lol.
Nov 10, 201015 yr a cruise sounds amazing!! went on one this summer and it was soo much fun enjoy your time off...melanie12nicole did the financial aid office say that we have to turn in dependent/independent verification worksheet before they will process anything? the college i am at now does and i was just wondering how they do it here
Nov 10, 201015 yr I just looked at the tuition & fees page. It lists tuition With SUmmers Off, Resident/Non Living w/parents/not, but does not give the tuition for With Summers....confusing. Eager to know for sure. BTW Tuition is $50k+i strongly doubt tuition is $50k. Are you sure you weren't looking at the out-of-state tuition schedule? my friend went there and she didnt pay more than $20k if that.
Nov 10, 201015 yr hello everyone!!! i just signed up and wanted to say congrats to everyone who has been accepted into the bacc2 program- i can’t wait to meet you all in january!!! (i’ll have to go back to read past posts but i’m sure glad there is a website like this one for us to get connected and help each other).
Nov 10, 201015 yr melanie12nicole did the financial aid office say that we have to turn in dependent/independent verification worksheet before they will process anything? the college i am at now does and i was just wondering how they do it hereNo they didn't say anything like that, but she did say they are pretty quick at getting your FASA info together and award letters out (2 or 3 days after you accept through e-connect). She did say if you want additional grants and scholarships you must turn in your parents information even if you are indepent. I just really want e-connect to hurry! I would call...they are very helpful. The rep I talked to sent me emails on loan information, and scholarships. They really want to make sure your school can get paid for....unlike UH whose FA office made you feel like a burden and didn't care if you got any financial assistance.
Nov 10, 201015 yr Can we all get together right before orientation. I too am going on a vacation for my 30th bday before school starts. I'm so excited to meet everyone and to start this new adventure.Tuition is around $15,000 including fees and books.

Yea but as far rent and everything I can definitely see why it would cost around $30-35K, I don't know why it says $45K. They have room and board on the higher end, but that's good when trying to take out loans....which I am definitely going to do, b/c it will give me a financial cushion without having to stress....we don't need any extra stress!! And to all those out there...I'm sure FA office will work with you!
Nov 10, 201015 yr Yes on the website the tuition and fees are little above $14K, but the total cost which includes book, housing, misc, transportation it comes out to $45K for the entire 15mo program.
Quota for this semester is 100.
