UTMB Spring 2011

Congrats to everyone who got in and those still waiting keep your head up!

Does anyone know if we will have summer courses?

from what I was told we will have summer courses if you start spring 11

I believe we will. On the website i believe it lists the summer as a normal semester with a full load

I just requested a degree plan and it didn't have summer at all. I need to send another email and ask about this.

o you're right i must have just assumed...all it says is semester 1, 2, etc...

I would definitely like to confirm, I was told if you started in the Fall you won't, but Spring applicants do have summer school. Hmmm....

On a side note....i got my confirmation reply from EC!! Did anyone else?

yup got mine too, but i also sent the paper thing in today. Also saw on the website everyone should know by tomorrow....

For those of you who are accepted tomorrow i am still in the market for a roommate!

I'm sad to report that I have been waitlisted, but I still have hope to join you in January. I know alot of students apply to multiple schools and just hope that enough decline UTMB for me to get their spot.

I have some friends that started last spring at utmb in the traditional program and they went full time in the summer. We go spring 2011, summer 2011, fall 2011, and spring 2012. If we would have started this fall, there would be no summer classes, but we are going to be nursing students for 15 months straight! Get excited!

Somehow it was a wrong degree plan. I was freaking out! Didn't want to stay longer if I didn't have to.

We should all get together before school starts for dinner.
