I applied for the Spring 2010 Program at UTHSC-Houston and I am also anxiously waiting to hear back from the school just like you all are. I interviewed there, and as of yesterday, the committee is still in the process of making a decision and should meet sometime next week. This is such a long nerve-wrecking wait. :anbd:

I also planned on applying to PV and thought that Aug. 1st was the last Net Test date. However, I just called and they confirmed that Sept. 19th is actually the last test date and there is still time to register. Yay! This is good news. I am going to register and apply to PV as a back up. HTH

Wow. Good luck!!!! If you don't mind me asking, do you have to take the NET again for PV, or have you just not taken it yet? Do you already have your prerequisites finished?

I had already taken the NET before applying to UT. However, PV requires that you take the NET there, so I will have to take another NET test just for PV.

I have finished all of my prerequisites.

I'm still wishy washy about applying to another school...I ONLY want to go to UTMB. Guess I better get off the fence soon..time is running out. I'm taking Chemistry and Pathophysiology in the fall and if I apply to PV I will have to take philosophy.

Yes ma'am..I've done all of my pre req's, THOUGHT all i had left was Chemistry...then I found out UTMB added pathophysiology :smackingf

onmyway2b1 since the pv program is first come first serve, i wonder if there is still room in the program or would you be on the wait-list at this point?

Ms Sealy, when I called PV earlier today, I asked if there was a waiting list. The advisor said that there was not a waiting list for the program, and that only the NET test was on a first come first served basis. I'm guessing there is still room available to take the NET on Sept. 19th. I will be completing the process and registering for the test asap.

Like you, I really want to get into UT, but it never hurts to have a backup plan..:nuke:
