UTMB Fall 2018

Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)

My stats are

TEAS:

82% Overall

-Reading: 85.1%

-Math: 87.5%

-Science: 78.7%

-English and Language Use: 75.0%

GPA: 3.9 Overall

    Hi! I'm having trouble with the transcript entry portion for my application. I already have a degree in Finance but I am applying for a BSN. Do I have to include the business courses as well or just the required courses? Thank you!

    I have 2 questions concerning TEAS upload. 1. If you have tested more than once, do you upload each test result or only the best of the two? 2. Do I need to pay ATI to formally forward test results to NCAS or in addition to the upload? Thanks to all of you who contribute to this site, it make this ordeal much easier to handle.

    I don't know the answer to your first question. But to the second question, from what I've heard we only need to upload, no need to pay ATI.

    Hey y'all! I submitted my application a little over a week ago, and my nursingCAS app was verified today. My stats are:

    Teas: 86.7%

    Overall GPA: 3.24

    Science GPA: 3.25

    -1 Year working as a Pharmacy Technician

    -75+ E.R. volunteer/shadowing hours

    -BLS CPR certification already done

    I got an email saying all of my coursework had been verified from NursingCAS and then I got an email the next day from UTMB with the supplemental application!
