UTMB Fall 2018

Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)

TEAS:

82% Overall

-Reading: 85.1%

-Math: 87.5%

-Science: 78.7%

-English and Language Use: 75.0%

GPA: 3.9 Overall

    @cewagner92 Hi, I also applied for UTMB and UTHealth. I haven't heard anything back from UTHealth yet. Can you tell me how they notified you and if there were any changes to your profile before that? Thank you!

    Dang! I didn't realize they accepted this many people without an interview! That's awesome for all of y'all! I'm curious how many spots are actually left. I know no one has an answer...just thinking out loud. Lol

    @mzmissy If I had to guess, I'd say next week. As far as I know the last round to go out was last week and that was 2 weeks after the first round went out.

    So there's been 2 rounds already? I thought it was just one and the coming up would be the second.

    There has been 2 rounds. Exactly 2 weeks apart i believe.

    There was a round that went out around 2/13 and then around 2/26 (I received my invite to interview the 2nd round)

    They started rather early this year. From what I have seen on the other forums, looks like they are just starting at this time usually. I would say that's a good thing and hopefully we won't have to wait as long to be notified.

    That would be great! Maybe they had complaints about cutting it so close to other deadlines.

    Hopefully that's the case!

    But i haven't gotten an invite :( makes me so sad and nervous.
