UTMB Fall 2018

Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)

My stats are

TEAS:

82% Overall

-Reading: 85.1%

-Math: 87.5%

-Science: 78.7%

-English and Language Use: 75.0%

GPA: 3.9 Overall

From other forums that I have read, some started getting interviews around mid February. Honestly, there isn't a way to really know when.

Since we won't hear back for a while, I decided to go ahead and send in my UTMB application for Spring 2019 as well; I figured it couldn't hurt! Anyone else doing this too? I've also applied for other programs, but I really want UTMB.

I Applied to spring 2019, too! It is recommended to do that :)

Did yall already pay for the Spring application? And I applied to 4 schools this coming Fall 2018 so I better get in somewhere lmbo

Yeah I went ahead and paid for it. I've applied to three so far and still planning on applying to more so I feel you!

When you did the Spring 2019 application did you use the same information and answers to questions (personal statement, etc.). Also, did you have any new scores, grades, or anything to add to it?

Honestly, this time around I kept everything the same because I feel like I have a strong application this cycle; however the past few times I've applied I've always tweaked it a little. Before I either had new test scores or new classes or certifications to add, but since I've updated those recently and just tweaked my personal statement last month, I kept everything the same.

At open house, they recommended you change up your personal statement if you're re-applying.

I'm going for Spring as well. Like you said, might as well!

I applied to 3 as well. This is my first time applying for BSN programs (besides Chamberlain). I was originally going the ADN route, but the Lord had other plans. How many times have you applied?

Thank you! Thats good to know. I actually think now that you mention it I remember hearing that.

What other schools are you guys applying to as well?
