could anyone shed some light on how the interview process went? (what questions were asked, what we should know going in etc.) thank you!! Congratulations to all who got accepted already :)

Those that got accepted, when were yalls interviews?

I think someone posted a more detailed post about interviews, but here's a few of the questions I was asked:

1. What major thing from your personal statement contributed to you wanting to pursue nursing?

2. If your grades began slipping what would you do? What are your study habits?

3. What hobbies or extracurriculars do you have that could hinder your study habits/success?

4. Do you work and will you in the program?

5. What questions do you have? (I asked about the class dynamics, clinicals, mentor/tutors, etc)

hope that helps. It was really informal and the professor who interviewed me was nice.

My interview was March 17th and I haven't heard anything back.. The suspense is killing me.. I keep checking my email constantly.

Just add the UTMB SON BSN Class of Fall of 2016! I deleted mine, I believe the senior mentors made one for us already thats why

So I called today to find out how soon we'd be getting information, if I didn't get in this semester I would want to apply for spring 2016. All the lady told me is that they are so far behind and the rest of the people who get interview probably wouldn't meet the May 31st deadline to apply for spring. So they advised me to go ahead and apply now for Spring because we likely will not have a decision before then. She also informed me that they are still doing interviews for the second round and have not began the third!
