UTMB FALL 2015

Does anyone know when they send out early acceptance emails?

Omg!! I am so nervous!!

They just sent out the early acceptance email! I got in!

I also got in without an interview so I guess that is possible!

Has anyone heard back from UTMB for the fall semester? Its been months since I applied and haven't received any emails towards the admission :/

Maybe since they sent out early acceptance, they will send first wave letters today?

I didn't apply for early acceptance but I haven't received any email regarding an interview either, not hearing anything is torture!

I had my interview this morning and was told they are only accepting 80-90 for fall admissions. Has anyone else heard this? He said it's because they are transitioning out of the fast track program. He also gave the general 2-4 weeks on hearing back. So first wave should be hearing soon.

I wanted to share for everyone that is still waiting... and that is just as nervous as I am!:

I called UTMB today and asked some questions to clear things up.

1. They are still accepting 120-125. She said they may even be accepting more this semester (Fall 2015).

2. They JUST started reviewing a few weeks ago, so don't be worried if you haven't heard anything. She said that big snow storm up north (where Nursing CAS is located) delayed their process by a few weeks so it is taking longer to review and get back to people.

3. If you have not heard anything up to this point, you're still in the running. They just have not reviewed your application yet.

I hope that makes a few of you feel a little better. I also gave her my stats, and she told me I shouldn't worry. I asked if I might hear in a few weeks, and her response was that she wasn't sure. They do meet every 2 weeks, so it's just a matter of time! I know it's nerve-racking.. I check my email like 10 times a day, so I definitely feel everyone's pain LOL.
