For the girls that have interviews, what are y'all wearing?

Hey you guys, I am currently a second semester nursing student at UTMB I just wanted to wish everyone good luck. I remember when I was in this position a year ago and how overwhelming it can be so just hang in there. In the forum for my class there was a current student who was answering some of our questions and I found it extremely helpful so if anyone has questions I would love to try and help. I was asked for an interview where I spoke to one of my current professors, the interview is very laid back so don't be nervous, and found out two weeks after the interview via mystar that I was accepted. @AndreaRodriquez I wore business casual slacks and a cute blazer. Also I highly recommend that if you have impressive stats to go to the UTMB homepage and consider applying for the honors program. A lot of students in my class were not aware of this so they missed out on the opportunity to get a full ride. Overall nursing school is tough yet so rewarding so I'm glad you guys decided to apply. Hi guys! I also got an email for an interview and my stats are.... Overall GPA:3.89. Science GPA:4.0. Teas score:69 the first time and I took it again and made a 74 overall. If anybody that goes to the interview does not mind sharing any tips, it would be great! Goodluck to everybody!! We have to stay positive!! :)

I also applied for the traditional BSN for fall 2015. I scored an overall of 96% on the TEAS, 100% in science, 89.6% in math as my lowest score. I have all of my sciences done, and I'd estimate my science pre-req to be 3.8. My pre-req GPA is also about 3.9. My overall GPA might be lower, as I have some previous undergrad work that didn't go so well. But hopefully that doesn't count against me...the past is the past! I am currently taking sociology, and will take a CLEP test for History 1 and 2. I definitely have the minimum number of credits completed.

I submitted my application on January 5th, and it was verified and considered complete by UTMB as of Jan. 21st. I haven't received an email for an interview...does anyone know if they accept people without interviewing them? I applied to several schools, but I'm getting nervous!

You can't get accepted without an interview at UTMB

Did all of you apply for an August start?

I was looking back at the Fall 2014 thread, and read that several people were admitted without interviews. I guess I can call UTMB and ask if they are interviewing all qualified applicants, or only some.

That's the fall semester, they already started giving out interview invites and in two weeks they will send acceptance letter for those who got accepted.

Does anyone know how we apply for the honors program?

Okay, I am confused. For those that have interviews scheduled... Are the interviews for the Fall or Summer semester?
