UTMB FALL 2014

I would like to start a thread for UTMB FALL 2014 since there I cannot find one. I am in the process of applying and this is the only school I am applying to. Right now, I just trying to finish my personal statement before I can submit it. I am a bit nervous and excited at the same time. So, how is everyone else doing?

My mystar status just changed to accepted so yayayaayay! I haven't actually gotten an email yet though.

I had my interview on Tuesday so it took them less than a week to decide.

Congrats!!! :)

Awesome! Still waiting for mine to change. I'm at the point where I just want to know either way, because I have applications to submit for Spring cohorts if it's a no.

Same here!

I submitted my application Jan. 3rd and was interviewed Feb. 13th. I have been calling the School of Nursing Admissions and all they told me is that the latest I will find out will be later this month. Hoping I will find out very soon!

It was only down for that time period, it's definitely up now.

That's not cool. If they say 2-4 weeks, it should be 2-4 weeks. At least to say that you've been waitlisted. Especially if people who interview after you are getting in a week after their interview.

Does anyone know of anymore that has an interview planned? I am hoping they are going to sit down and have all the interviewed applicants decided if they are done with this wave of interviews...

I applied Jan 15. Interviewed Thursday the 27th. and just checked today and have been accepted, although I am declining.

I called this morning and was told the same thing: no later than the end of April.

I just get a sinking feeling that there is something wrong. What's wrong? Something with my paperwork? (Is it missing? Did it get coffee spilled on it??) With my stats? (Rechecking to make sure I am good on paper...) With my interview? (Did I have spinach in my teeth?)

My sentiments are the same as everyone who is waiting. I am really wondering why the acceptances are coming so early for those who interviewed later and thinking if it's something I did wrong on the interview. I was hoping the committee with meet on Mondays again but after late last weeks meeting, I don't know when I should expect a reply.

Hey guys! So I know many of you guys are wondering why the applicants who recently had their interviews got to know their status in a matter of a week or a few days. Well I talked to a friend who is currently in their nursing program and she told me she also was one of the last to interview and she was accepted 2 days later. She told me its just their way of getting things done and that they will eventually get to the rest of us. I don't think you guys should worry. It just seems to me like they sort of work backwards from the most recent interview to the earliest

Do you mind me asking why you're declining?

Is anyone else still waiting on an interview? I'm sure I have been put to the side but I was wandering if anyone else is in my boat?
