UTMB Fall 2013

Hello! I searched the site and seen no one made a topic about the people trying to enter in Fall 2013 so here is it  I am applying to UTMB for Fall 2013. I've written my personal statement and filled in the application. Now i'm waiting on nursing CAS to receive all my transcripts and to take my TEAS test on Jan. 8. I'm so nervous. How is everyone else coming along?

Email

So I called this morning and the lady wouldn't give me an answer over the phone. I told the lady I needed an answer because the spring deadline is in two weeks. She confirmed my name and email and said she couldn't say anything over the phone. I had informed her that i only applied to utmb for the fall and therefore would need to apply for spring. She told me to go ahead and just apply for spring. So I'm assuming I didn't get in. :(

They can probably tell by looking at our page I'm assuming.

Spring deadline is in 2 weeks?? I thought it was September?!

it is on July 1st.

So basically I have 2 weeks to retake the HESI and TEAS? that's just peachy.

Can't you just use your old scores?

You have 2 weeks to retake the TEAS for UTMB, but you have more time to take the HESI because most schools that require HESI don't have deadlines until August. And I'm pretty sure you can use your old scores, but if there's anyone like me, I was hoping to take it again and get a better score. But 2 weeks is definitely not enough time to study and retake it so I think I'll just use my old score.

So you're reapplying and if you've been waitlisted? Just in case? Because idk if I should.

I am in the same boat. I think I will go ahead and reapply even though I've been wait listed. I would like to retake the TEAS but I definitely do not have the time to study and retake the exam by July 1st. I made an 80.7% on the TEAS with an 80% on the science portion. So I guess I will use my old scores. Also not sure if I should rewrite my personal statement.

Hi all! I have been wait listed and I typed a question into google and it sent me here. I reapplyed just incase. I figured I didnt know how many people were on the waitlist, how many people accepted and I could be last on the list... so figured it would be best to apply again. I changed my personal statement a little just so it wouldnt be the same. Idk.

Yeah I'm going to do the same. Seems like there's a lot of people on the waitlist so a lot of us probably won't get in. I don't have access to my old nursingcas application so I don't have my old personal statement and I gotta start over :( I thought I wrote a good one last time and I'd like to reuse it lol
