UTMB Fall 2012

I applied to UTMB Master's program and was told last week, that after Spring Break, they will start to review applications. First of April, they will start calling applicants for interviews is what I was told

No, she didn't tell me how many would be accepted. She just said she had HUNDREDS of applications to review

I was just wondering if there were others out there who applied to the UTMB FNP program this year. I applied for the post-master's program. I have no idea how competitive admission is or when they will send letters. Anyone?

I have also applied to UTMB FNP program for the fall semester. I spoke with the nursing school and they told me that interview requests will be sent out at the being of April. I also applied to Texas Tech PNP program for the fall semester as well. I just wonted to keep all of my options open.

Yipes. I wonder if that includes post-masters. I also wonder what they consider a competitive GPA. I have a 3.7, I hope that is enough.

Has anyone heard anything from UTMB about when applicants will be notified for the Fall 2012 FNP program? My friend applied last year and had already interviewed and been accepted by this time...

I havent heard anything. I was really curious if anyone else had, but I guess not.

They told me that they were still reviewing applications.

I finally heard from the school, I have an interview schedule for the 29th of May at 1400. Did anyone else get a call/email.

Nothing yet. Are you applying for the post-master's or the full program? Were you notified by email?

I applied for the MSN Nurse Educator program in Nov. 2011 for Fall 2012 and STILL waiting to hear from them!! when i call, they say they are still reviewing applications. I hope this is not an indication of how they run school business
