Hi Everyone, Just had an interview ( I think), it didn't go as I excepted. I was told that I needed more experience in adult med-surg, because all my nursing years are in pedi. For the FNP requirements it doesn't say you need adult med-surg experience, it only state that you must have at least two years of nursing experience. So I got offered the option to go to the Neonatal NP program and I accepted. So good luck to all those who are still waiting on a response.

I'm glad your interview went so well. That's scary only 50 students will be chosen. I wish you all the best of luck.. I guess it is good that we are 1 of the 125 to get an interview. That means we all still have a chance.

Hi everyone, I see both of you had your interview today... How did it go?? Did she ask alot of questions?? My interview is not unitl next week:( Atleast I know who is interviewing me...

I turn my application in right before the due date.. I do know that the program is completely online. We shouldn't have to go on campus for anything. Where do you stay? I'm from galveston, but stay in La Marque and work in Houston.

I complete my undergrad there as well. I hope you hear something soon. I can't believe its taken this long.

I'm applying for the full program (FNP). Yes, they sent me an email to call this lady so they can schedule the interview. Which one are you applying to?

I finally heard from the school, I have an interview schedule for the 29th of May at 1400. Did anyone else get a call/email.

They told me that they were still reviewing applications.

Hi Everyone, I just wonted to update everyone on how many students they will be accepting for the fall admission to the FNP program. Just spoke to someone from student affairs, they only accepting 60 students for the fall semesters.

I have also applied to UTMB FNP program for the fall semester. I spoke with the nursing school and they told me that interview requests will be sent out at the being of April. I also applied to Texas Tech PNP program for the fall semester as well. I just wonted to keep all of my options open.
