UTA Spring 2017

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to open a topic for everyone who will be applying/has applied for the 2017 spring start for the BSN program. I am taking my HESI in a little over 2 weeks and I'm just really nervous about it. I will also be sending in my application shortly after I take the test. I know, I know...very close timing! I am just finishing up a full semester and wanted to make sure that I gave my GPA as much of a boost as possible. I will be applying with an overall GPA of 3.5 and a science GPA of 4.0, as well as one consideration. I would love any advice people have on taking my HESI or just overall nursing school advice. :) Thanks in advance.

    I got my acceptance to the on-campus program today. I'm stuck trying to fill out the response form. It wants me to check yes for questions I need to answer no to. Confused.

    Congratulations everyone, I was accepted today as well! I'm also confused by the response form. It won't let me continue unless i check that I failed patho/pharm or that I am an international student, and neither apply to me...

    No, I can't figure it out at all:down: I emailed both the assistant and my advisor but I doubt I'll get a response today. Hopefully someone else will chime in and tell us how to do it.

    There was no way around submitting the form unless that box was checked.

    This is the response I got:

    That box needs to be checked to move forward with submitting the form. It's just acknowledging that you understand if” you fail or if you are international, you have additional responsibilities. Go ahead and select the box to submit your form.

    Go ahead and check that scary little box that says "yes, I failed patho and pharm etc.." I called the office and they are working on rewording it...basically it means to say "Yes, I acknowledge IF I failed this is what will happen.." go ahead and check it

    I'm currently finishing up all my Lower Division science pre-reqs. After this semester I will only need Micro and then the 3 Pre-nursing classes. I plan on taking Micro for winter-mester.I talked to an advisor over the summer but she was fairly new to the department. I am wondering when would be the best time to start studying for the HESI and to apply?
