Hey everyone! I thought I would let you know that I declined TWU's offer, and I will be accepting UTA's. I took a tour of TWU's simulation room today, and I felt sad when I saw it since it is nothing like UTA's.

Have you guys officially accepted already? I will send mine today, with a confirmation number and get my background check done tomorrow.

Also, I was looking at our schedule for next semester, and it seems like this is what we will be taking, plus clinicals:

NURS 3320 T 8-9:50 AM-Holistic Health Assessment (3 hrs)

NURS 3333 M 1-3:50 PM-Health Promotion and Illness Prevention Across the Lifespan (3 hrs)

NURS 3632 M 9-11:50 AM-Clinical Nursing Foundations (6 hrs)

yaay. i think you made a good choice goopsy. with uta having the smart hospital its hard to turn that down. i turned in my acceptance letter last week. are we suppose to receive some more stuff in the mail after that or do we just have to wait for orientation? I wish they would post the times for the labs/clinicals so i can go ahead and get my schedule organized.

Oh I know ayeisha! I think they are suppose to post something on webct...It says something like that in the acceptance letter.

i called my advisor last week with some questions about uta, and she said that when you accept, they mail you the info packet. maybe they are waiting for the nov. 13th deadline to do that. my email is below:

"will i get an information packet with all of the details once i accept the offer? or do i have to wait for orientation in january to get that info?"

"yes, as soon as you send in your acceptance."

also, like misspink said, we will get an email in our mymav account once an orientation is set up in webct. i can't wait.

Oh good thanks goopsy! I am really happy you picked UTA....it really is a great school! This has been a long process and I cant wait for Spring semester to begin!

oh ps...I heard these girls talking about the UTA allnurses forum the other day when I was in class...she was mentioning our posts we had put up about receiving the acceptance letters....I couldnt help but giggle a little :) he he

Oh I know! Im surprised more people didnt post! Well I'm very happy all 3 of us got into UTA :) Ayeisha do you have a facebook? if so go join the group that goopsy posted for UTA Nursing Class fall 2011! :)

How are everyones classes going? I am so ready for pharm & pahto to be over with! We have 2 exams next week for both classes wed & thurs! good luck studying ayeisha! Goopsy, Hows the patho classe at TWU going? I'm ready for winter break!
