UTA Spring 2010

Okay I just talked to my friend & it her says no app either. So I'm assuming the regular 2 year doesnt use the my mav to let us know about are app. I have a hold on my account too Ayeisha but thats bc I havent seen Justin yet to approve me to enroll in classes for next semester. I bet it wont affect your chances bc we had to turn in our transcripts with the application so It should say on the transcript that you are exempt :)

yah, it probably says no app too because the application is over and decisions have already been made. yah, I don't think it will hurt you ayeisha. They just updated mymav, and I bet it's just an error.

yea im hoping it was an error from updating my mav. the thing i noticed is i looked on my unofficial transcripts and it says my tsi status is not complete (but i know based on my taks scores, which are on my transcript, that i was exempt)....usually you cant even registered until you have the tsi cleared your first semester at uta, so i know it had to be an error on their part bc i have been able to register for classes for the last 3 yrs without any problems. idk i guess i will just have to wait til tomorrow and see my advisor and also talk to the record and admissions office.

I have a hold too; it says to not generate refunds on my account. interesting.

Ok guys please post if you get something! I have a patho exam @ 1pm so I wont be able to check my mail until after class is over with, but im tempted to leave right after my test is over with ha ha :)

Will do misspink! My mailman comes in about 2 HOURS!!!!!! YAY! And ayeisha's comes in about one hour!! Surely, there are letters (acceptance letters) today for all of us!

my dad just called me and said nothing came!!....again.. this is ridiculous! im at the nursing advisors now waiting to talk to my advisor..maybe she will b able to tell me something

ok i just got out with the advisor. Basically they are not allowed to tell us anything until you have received a letter. he said that he thinks letters might have gone out yesterday but he wasnt sure and that it is not garunteed that we will get them by thursday! He said that if you got accepted you will know before you even open the letter bc the envelope is going to be so thick, with information. As far as registering for the spring semester, if you dont get into the program, you have to have a back up major ( change your major) and take classes for that. he said you can still apply for the nursing program again but since your prerequistes should be finished by then you wont have anymore classes to take so you have to basically start taking classes towards another major.

i am just so stressed over all of this! Yal keep me updated if you get anything

Wow really!! I feel bad for the people who need to drop if they dont get in!

They just shoulda mailed out the letters last Thurs after the committee met!!! so annoying, Im getting anxious now!

i know, i dont understand why it is taking so long to mail out letters. the comittee had there meeting over a week ago!
