Yes, I received the same e-mail.

I received an email but just to tell me that my application was "complete" I did not receive anything about a background check does that mean I didn't get in or am I getting paranoid? Anyone else didn't get the background email?

You're paranoid. Don't worry about the small stuff at thia point. The e-mail indicated that they will start sending notifications on March 18th; however, it is important to note that if you are waitlisted initially, they will literally call you off the waitlist up until 2 weeks prior to the Fall session starting.

March 18th? Wow that's pretty early, I thought we wouldn't hear anything until April. Anyways, thanks for the extra info.

I received the same email. I hope to hear something back in the next 10 days. Where will everyone be doing there clinicals? Is anyone in the Houston area?

I'm from the Houston area and I'm requesting to do my clinical at Houston Methodist Willowbrook, it's only 5 minutes from my house.

I know today is the 18th and it is when we are supposed to start getting notifications of acceptance / waitlist. Has anyone heard anything? I know it is still early but anxious!

I have not heard anything yet either. I wonder if they release the acceptance/waitlist letters alphabetically? If so, my last name is one of the last letters in the alphabet. I might be waiting until next Wednesday. UGH!!! I hope they put us out of our misery soon!!!

I had received an email yesterday from UTA that the university would be closed today. Not that this means anything because emails could have been scheduled to be sent today but if any part required human interaction, emails may not go out until Monday. Just didn't want anyone to be disappointed if they did not get an email today cause there may be a good reason like university being closed.

Thanks for posting that information. I have checked my email about 30 times today. I am now convinced that we will wait until Monday (at the earliest) to find out. Have a great weekend.

Thank you for sharing that information! It would have made more sense for them to state the date range as 21st-23rd with the campus being closed today and then the weekend coming up. Also, do you know if we receive an email if we aren't accepted / or put on the waitlist, or is no response an indication of not getting in? I know we are all anxious, prayers to all!
