  1. So for everyone waiting on some type of verification that they received your acceptance information, I emailed my advisor this morning and asked why I had not received any type of information about the BON status or the blackboard orientation. Within an hour, I did get an email stating that my acceptance response has been received and that I will be receiving more emails with other information. My advisor has not emailed me back. I sent my acceptance form back to them immediately after I got accepted wich was on 3/22/16. I don't know why it took them so long to send me a letter saying that they received my acceptance response. I hope to know more about the blackboard orientation today.
  2. Hi. FutureRN-Chiddy....I am taking Patho and Pharm at the same time. Sorry for the late response. I just logged in and saw your post. I finished Patho last night with an 86.34. I am taking my Pharm final today. Pharm is hard. In my opinion much harder than Patho. The Prof is terrible. She gives very little guidance. I hope you do well. Maybe we can meet at the orientation in August. :)
  3. Traffic violation do not count as long as you weren't arrested. For example, if it was a regular speeding ticket or failure to stop at a stop sign, you don't need to worry about that.
  4. For those of you accepted to the online program, are any of you guys from the Houston area?
  5. I was accepted to the online program. Is anyone that has been accepted to the online program from the Houston area?
  6. I haven't heard anything yet.
  7. I emailed my academic advisor on Friday to ask when we should expect our acceptance/denial letters. She got back to me this morning. She said that they would hopefully be emailing decision letters today. I did not like the word "hopefully". And so we wait......
  8. Thanks for posting that information. I have checked my email about 30 times today. I am now convinced that we will wait until Monday (at the earliest) to find out. Have a great weekend.
  9. I have not heard anything yet either. I wonder if they release the acceptance/waitlist letters alphabetically? If so, my last name is one of the last letters in the alphabet. I might be waiting until next Wednesday. UGH!!! I hope they put us out of our misery soon!!!
  10. So tomorrow, the 18th, is the day we should start hearing about our status. Good luck everyone.
  11. What do you think it means that it doesn't matter that you didn't receive the email about the background clearance? Thx :)
  12. I received the same email. I hope to hear something back in the next 10 days. Where will everyone be doing there clinicals? Is anyone in the Houston area?
  13. Where I work now, we have to work two weekends a month. There are many people that like working a Matrix of two days on two days off 3 days on 2 days off 2 days on 3 days off. They always know when they will be working.
  14. Day by day...let your preceptors teach you what you need to know. You can pick and choose what you like. When you are on your own you will develop your own rhythm soon enough. Everyday you will learn more and more and you make some mistakes along the way. You will learn from your mistakes and you will become the nurse that you want to be and that you are! Don't let others make you feel bad for being kind or paying too much attention to someone. Chin up!! :)
