UTA AP BSN program Fall 17

So I'm trying to see anyone is going to apply for UTA's AP BSN program the fall of 2017. I have been following threads and trying to get some information about how this program is set up. I did my application to the school last year for the Fall of this year. I'm trying to knock out my science classes, but I have withdrawal from my biology class 4 times and Im wanting to take my chemistry over the summer. Possibly doing my other 2 sciences with UTA. I haven't taken the Hesi A2, I plan to take that around the Fall. So, I just like us to update with each other and encourage each other to get into the program. I would do my stats, but I haven't taken gotten them yet. As soon as Im finished, I will post them. Everyone is free to post theirs

How are you handling taking both together? I will be attempting them together and won't be working so just curious!!

I just finished my LVN program at lone star. I have all my pre reqs and made 94 or above on all hesi sections. I have a 3.2 total gpa and graduated LVN program with a 3.8. I've just finished the uta app and hope to get in and be able to finish bsn app in time for the fall admission!!

Yes. You have to signup for the whole hesi and pay the fee but when you go in- you sit for just that portion.

I am applying for Fall 2017, and my science GPA is 3.0. I do have an exception I took 12 science hours at UTA and I am partnered. but I am also still scared that I will not get in because of the 3.0. I take Micro in the spring and hoping to get an A in that. Chemistry is what I scored low in and I don't want to retake.

I've applied for the Fall 2017 program. Of course, I won't find out until April whether or not I get in. I have taken the HESI and all my science classes. I just lack 4 of my other classes. I have a 92 HESI score, a 3.75 science GPA and a 3.5 prerequisite GPA. From anyone who has been accepted into the program, what are my chances of getting in??

They both are intense classes, I would suggest taking them separate. Patho first because it takes a lot of time and studying.

It can be kind of confusing, because I have saw people getting accepted with 3.3 overall gpa, and 3.2 science gpa but have considerations and partnered with hospital employment. I think they consider the partnered first

Does anyone know how to upload your hesi scores during the application process if you took it at another college?

Is it true that we have to be done with ALL the pre reqs before we can get in to the program?

Ive been trying to find out the same. No luck :(

You have to have 12 or the 16 sciences done before applying for the programs. If accepted into the program you must have all the lower division requirements done before day one of the semester you start the upper level Nursing program. Usually if they feel you can't complete the requirements you might get denied admission.

I'm trying to find out HESI info also!
