hi

i can't really figure out how to study for the NCLEX-RN exam. I am taking hell lot of time to study for a small portion with a very small output which is driving me soooooo crazy. Also, i am so confused. Do we have to go through the content first and then deal with the questions later??? And is it enough to have saunders comprehensive review +kaplan+lacharity to pass through the exam. I seriously need a HELP....Can you guys give me tips on how to prepare for this exam????? i really need a ADVICE.....PLEASE HELP ME...:confused::idea::idea::idea:

Those books are just fine! If you just finished school like within the last month up until now then I recommended you just focus on answering many questions at least 5,000. But if you've been out of school for a while more than 3 or more months you need to review the content and answer questions. Set up a study plan, first figure out when you take your test, then get a calendar and write down which and what content you're going to go over on this and that day. Example: Monday Dec 20, Endocrine content review, Dec 21, Endocrine content review, Dec 22, Endocrine Questions, quiz, exam. Thursday Dec 23, Gastrointestinal content review. And then just keep on and on until you reviewed everything that you wanted to review. A few weeks before the test just do all questions, no more content reviewing. Hope this helped, Good luck and Blessings!

After owning the book for 18 months, I just learned that Saunders has a comprehensive test on the CD that will generate a 6-week study plan based on your strengths/deficits. I printed mine out just to give me a way to focus my study.

i really appreciate the advices you guys have given..thank you so much. now, i am seriously going to implement a schedule. i hope and pray that i can able to stick with it. please ,,,,,,god help me and give me the strength to accomplish my wishes.

good luck to all the people who are preparing for this exam......

It is up to you to decide how to proceed. There are many posts in the NCLEX forum concerning how people approached studying. Good luck.

God will continue to give you strength just continue to pray and study. Be consistent with your study plan. Also when you study try to study for 2-3 hours daily and stick with it. You have some great sources there. Good luck and God bless
