Update on FCCA 9/2009

Just got this from my Excelsior advisor today 9/23/2009.

The FCCA is not available in computerized format yet. When you are made

eligible (2-4 weeks after last nursing theory exam is completed), you will

be contacted by e-mail with information concerning FCCA preparation and

taking the paper verion of the exam. You do not have to do anything until

you get that e-mail.

Just thought I'd pass it on. I rescheduled my last test (retake Lifespan #2)before FCCA for Oct 8th instead of tomorrow. Better to delay two weeks instead of 6 months if I stumble. Was trying to take last exam in the hopes that the FCCA would not be in computer form yet. Just nervous about the word "yet" in the message, does yet apply to what is left of September, October or beyond!!

Good luck on retaking the test. I had to retake it myself and was scared to death. I used College network. Studygroup 101, practice test and Minnay.

Don't worry about the FCCA. For some reason they can't convert that to the computer. They have been trying to since June 2008.

I feel that you will pass it, just keep reviewing it.:D

I actually just got my fcca paperwork test in the mail today. Last I heard it was going to be computerized in Spring 2010.

Thanks for the input. That is a big weight off my shoulders. Hopefully will have CPNE scheduled by Spring 2010.:yeah:
