I would like to know any information about nursing unions in the phila.pa. area .Currently working at Einstein Hospital last twenty yrs. conditions are getting unbearable !!! HELP RN

I guess your screen name here lets everyone know -
1 - that you feel Einstein has problems,
2 - you're unhappy, and
3 - you're pro-union.
You might want to change the name FAST.

didn't pennsylvania become right to work state? meaning right to terminate? I'd follow amo's advice.

OP, change your screen name. You do not want the things you say here getting back to your colleagues or mgmt. It's happened to people here who were using a made up screen name; you're a sitting duck if you use your personal name.
PA is a "right to work" aka "right to fire" state, but that doesn't mean you can't organize. In some areas, like mine, it's very hard to get unions, but in urban areas, like Philly, it's easier.

Hahnemann University(part of Tenet Corp) nurses defeated PASNAP in 1999. They have organized several smaller facilities since then. Hospital RN's at Crozer, Temple and Mercy Fitz strongly support the union and have the highest wages in the area.
