Is it bad that I am really hoping we find out this week? I know when they said to expect to hear, but I have not surprisingly gotten my hope up that it's this week. In the grand scheme of thing 2 more weeks wouldn't be that bad, but wouldn't it be nice to know this week? I'm driving my boyfriend insane by how often I am obsessing about it.

By the way- grey lady where are you? We would love your insight right about now! We are all driving ourselves crazy right now..

She will probably tell us to stop checking our status until at least another week lol. It's only really the first week of April right now

Good luck to everyone. I know the wait is excruciating. I have to tell you the morning I saw my status change was the most memorable & probably the high point of nursing school at UMB. And don't worry about breaking the system -- I know I easily checked my status over a 1000 times. And don't get discouraged if you see postings of others having a status change and yours is still the same. They didn't happen all at once for my class. Just make sure if you are still taking classes to keep those grades up (B or better for everything prereq or not.)

How about this - if I can find out exactly when they have changed or started to change the status of applicants would it help if I posted that? I can tell you that the policy has been to notify all prospective students at once as opposed to in groups of accepted, wait listed, rejected. The admissions committe is almost completely finished and there is a movement to hurry up the notifications - we will see. In the past, I have been given a list of students to call and have volunteered to do so again. It's one of my all time favorite things to do. I can't wait either!!

Will "wait-listed" or "rejection" statuses be put up at the same time as "accepted" statuses? Or will they wait to see who accepts the offers and meets the deposit deadline? I'm guessing a student who accepts the offer will have to put down a deposit by a specific deadline? When is that date? If no deposit is put down, or an offer is rejected, will it then open up to the wait-listed people? Sorry, I guess I'm just a little confused on how that will all work out...

I know that deposits are requested in two weeks and the offer is not guaranteed beyond that. How fast that slot or one offered to a student who rejects it goes to a wait list student I can't predict. Some have special circumstances which warrent extending their deadline for the deposit.

So, for those of you who are fortunate enough to have multiple offers - please be kind and make it known IMMEDIATELY that you will not be accepting one from UMB. Somebody out there is desperate to take you place as soon as possible.

I finally got next to decision: Committee Ready today which is nice. haha I'm guessing that has happened to most people already though.
