UM NP program Spring 2019

Hello everyone, starting a thread for the incoming MSN/DNP nurse practitioner track at the University of Miami for the Spring 2019

When my friend applied earlier this year, and got her interview date (she deleted emails so she can't estimate for me lol ) it was sent to other people as well (on the same email ) so perhaps they are waiting on picking more candidates for interview dates before they send the email to you. Don't think they are pulling your leg, I just don't think they personally send an interview email individually to everyone (that would take forever) lol ! You'll be fine !

My only issue is, if I do get chosen for interview I hope they have flexible dates, my schedule at work is already done till mid September :(

Hi! I submitted my application and in about 2-3 weeks I was contacted to set up an interview time. They sent the email on a Monday and I interviewed on a Thursday. Hope that helps.

Thank you for reading beyond my misspelling. I'm high on Nitequil fighting a terrible summer cold lol. Ok I see your point that they maybe just waiting to shot a massive email and not just personal ones. Never thought of it that way.

I'm just a planner and impatient person so I have trips and my work schedule done so I got to just wait and see.

Do anyone know what they asked in these interviews? I saw clinical questions are asked and i really want to make sure I'm up on my stuff as an ICU nurse.

Thank you so much for replying!!! Appreciate it!

No problem girl! We are in this waiting game together. As the days pass I grow more and more impatient. Idk why I find this to be so odd. I feel like it shouldn't take so long.

If anyone hears anything please let me/us know. And I'll do the same.

Hey you, ironically enough....I got an email for interview today. I was at work at the time and around 5 it was sent to me, I did apply for the FNP though. Monday is the day. Nervous but excited. Will update you as time passes, wish me luck!

That's great!!! You'll do great!!! Well I still hear nothing. I did apply for the AGACNP route do that could be different as well. I'm just getting very impatient

Is anyone still waiting for a final answer? I was reached out via email that my application was under review on 7/29. How long does it take? thank you so much!

What program are you applying for? I'm the same boat BUT I am applying for the AGACNP.

Hi BarbieRN21! FNP program :)
