UM NP program Spring 2019

Hi,

I applied for the AGACNP program and I emailed someone the yesterday and I was told I was selected for an interview but they couldn't tell me when. My work schedule is in all the way till September 1st. I need to know when but I hear nothing from them. It's getting frustrating. How long was your wait for an interview date? I wonder if it's the same as the FNP? Does anyone know how long this process is? 8/1 is the deadline and we are coming up on it very quickly. Thanks!

Me too. Did you tour the school of nursing virtual hospital? I think the rep told me they admit like25-30 students for the Acute Care NP. Not sure. I'm going batty with this waiting game.

Same! A person at UM told me I have been selected to interview but I still haven't received an email with date and time. Idk but I hope she's right. Fingers crossed.

I am going to apply for Fall 2019 full time program. Does anyone know how many students they accept for FNP and ACNP? I have 10 ICU experience but was thinking about doing FNP. However, someone told me that there are more FNP applicants. It has been a hard decision between the two. I do not graduate with my BSN until Dec 18. I want to apply ASAP. I am from out of state so I will need to move. I am just trying to get any details that anyone would like to share with me.

Don't laugh at me lmao but literally 2 days, I received an email that my application was being reviewed on Sunday, but no one has really answered on how long the process takes, and I hate waiting and rechecking emails 5,000 times a day lol =D

Oh! Lol well, I was told by a presentation from UM that I've been selected to interview but they hasvent set the time or date yet. That's was going on 2 weeks again. I'm trying to not email her for the 3rd time. It's a long wait. Or I'm having my leg pulled lol. Idk
