2014 UF's Generic BSN program

Published

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone is applying to UF for the generic fall bsn? I'm kind of nervous this year. Last year I was rejected because I took my last pre-req over summer and they wouldn't accept the completion because it was past spring semester. Anyways, I'm a transfer student from a Florida college. I have a 3.75 cumulative gpa and a 4.0 prereq gpa. Also, I dont know if it looks any better when they review my application but I stacked all my prereqs together and managed to get A's in all of them. I just know the feeling of being rejected and i'm hoping this will be could enough to get me in. Let me know what you guys think.

I'm currently in the Generic BSN program at UF and last year they only accepted 3 or 4 students that were not currently UF students. I don't want to discourage you, but please apply to several schools. UCF tends to accept more transfer students than UF. Good luck to you!!

I applied to UF Fall 2014 as a transfer student too! I hope they will accept more transfers this year. But 4.0 prereq GPA.. that's really good!

Has anyone heard when are they going to send out the decision letters? I sent an email to the advisor but have not gotten a response yet.

hopefully it's really soon :nailbiting:

Ufgatr,

I have been like that since I turned in the application, lol. I am a transfer student, so my chances are very slim but remain hopeful. I am going to be stalking my mailbox for the next couple of weeks... Good luck!

Good luck to you too! this anticipation has been killing me the past week, haha

A friend called UF and said decision letters will be sent out in a week.

Oh my gosh that's soo late. like usually the letters would be on their way by now.

Hi ufgatr,

Let me know when you get your letter in the mail. I live in Ocala and it's snail mail lol. Hopefully, there will be something next week... Have a great weekend!

Okay! I live further away from uf though so it might take longer for me to get it.

As per Ken Foote: Decisions are in the mail so you should be receiving something soon.
