UF DNP Program 2022 (PMHNP)

Hey all, anyone applying for PMHNP program or know of anyone who has gone through the program? I can't find much on the stats for the program from previous students.

thank you!

Hey, I am also applying to the PMHNP program! This has been a lifelong goal of mine.

From what l understand UF is a very good program, and a lot of what makes the program so good are the clinicals. The professors work hard to provide a good variety of clinical settings in mental healthcare. Also, you will be taking the same general courses as the rest of the DNP students other than 26 credits specific to the psych concentration.

Ignore that previous comment LOL. I couldn’t get rid of it, sorry.

that is great to hear! I’ve heard it’s an amazing program as well. I researched some clinical sites and they seem to have a lot.

have you submitted your app yet?

I have a couple questions to finish up for the application. I hope to submit today, if I can.

Hi everyone, I applied to the FNP track. Do you guys know of anyone who was accepted into this program right after having finished their BSN?

Did y’all finish your app in time?

and I’m not sure. I think I’ve seen it on previous forums. I’m in my last semester of nursing school, so I’m curious about that too

Hi guys! I applied for the part time PMHNP program. I submitted my application on January 30th but received an email saying it was undelivered due to an unreported institution. I resubmitted with the changes on feb 1st. ?

Did anyone get an email of confirmation from the school after their application was verified??

@KendallMarikRN22 im sorry, that must've been stressful! I think if you submit before the deadline, it should be fine. I got an email after I submitted the supplemental application and then when my nursingcas was verified! did you get any emails, besides the one saying there was an error?

when do you think we will hear back with acceptances/rejections?

I was stalking the page from last year. It seems like last year everyone got notified around May ??

Last year the deadline was March 1st

I wonder why they changed the deadline this year? This wait is going to be brutal to find out if we got in. Last year everyone found out at the end of May. I really hope that’s not the case. Did you guys apply to other schools?

Has anyone reached out to the school to see what their intended deadline is? The only email I have received this far is my “residency” status for financial aide purposes.
