UCLA MECN Fall 2014?

Ha, yeah. At this point I'm assuming I'm rejected. I've already started on another application :)

So, a few weeks back I had to change my email address due to crazy spamminess. I changed it on the Grad Application site, but did not email SON to tell them since in the past I would either login and see the rejection or get a letter in the mail for the other options. When they started sending out emails I figured I should probably email them as well to make sure they had the right email address. Granted I am totally aware of how busy they are right now, but.....first I emailed MC, since my last bit of communication was with him. I received no reply. So then I figured I should forward my email to RF. She emailed me back the following reply:

"We are still working on admissions. You should receive an email by Friday."

Which does not actually address why I emailed her. So obviously they are not really reading emails.....and are completely overwhelmed at this point. Just put it all online already!!!!

@Gratefulsunshine: Right. I took all three of them though at SMC haha. Btw, I was thinking of taking the Epi class online. Let me know if you're interested.

You guys aren't alone. I've been crying over this program for months. I just wish they would tell us already.

An e-mail by Friday! Probably I'll get a rejection e-mail.

To be honest I don't believe acceptances were sent out alrdy. Why would RH tell someone in person that?? That would just give away that everyone else is denied. I think that's something UCLA wouldn't do. And if they did, it's really unprofessional of them to do so.

No, it just means that they haven't figured out the wait list yet. I really think they aren't sure how many people to put on the wait list.

That's probably a good idea. The speculation is driving me insane, but having no other contact with UCLA, it's also really helping me!
