UCI MEPN Fall 2019

Last year the interview invites were sent ~4.5 wks after the app was due. Its been almost 4 wks since ours was due! I'm wondering if we will hear soon or if we'll have to wait until March... I'm getting so impatient haha!

I got an email saying that interview notifications will be sent out by the end of the first week of March via email! It also says that interviews will be conducted online which is interesting!

Got that email also! Anyone ever done an online school interview before? What exactly does that entail? A video call I'm assuming? Almost wish we could just come in person although it will be much more logistically convenient..

The email said "BY End of 1st week of March", which means maybe we'll hear about it anytime between now and then.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Either way your calculations were pretty spot on so nice job lol!

I had the same reaction. I also assume it will be a video call, and I'm curious if it will be one-on-one or if there will be a panel of interviewers. The only thing I can compare it to would be phone interviews I've done, which can be a great or terrible experience depending on who the interviewer is.

Yeah I am curious about that too. I've never done a phone or video interview - what were your past experiences like with them specifically? I wish I could come in, shake some hands, and be there in person tbh. The thought of internet being wonky or technology being unpredictable adds more unnecessary worry haha. Would hate to leave a bad impression because of technical difficulties!

Happy Feb. 14th to all! Such great news we got via email today, but at the same time I too concur with the technology anxieties and NO actual handshake(s) . Lets stay positive!

Anyone hear back yet?? If not, it looks like we'll have to wait until next week... but at least we know it will be by the end of the week FOR SURE!

Going to enjoy this weekend like no other.... I hope we hear by Tuesday! I would love to share some good news with my grandmother right before her bday... ?
