  1. Hello, In the past it was $500. The deposit is meant to secure your seat in the program and goes toward tuition. Congratulations to all who got accepted and good luck to all on the waiting list!!
  2. Thanks so much for your prompt replies and feedback!
  3. Ohh I see. Got ya. Still exciting, though :). About how long are those zoom meetings for clinical replacement, if you don't mind me asking? (Per week)
  4. Hey jeffecyn, how exciting! You are on your way out. I hope there has been progress made in terms of what the next best alternative will be for you guys. For the most part it appears that if the clinical/rotation site isn't alowing students, then it's out of the institution/program's hands, but there seems to be something developing for a good chunk of last term nursing students. I hope it all works out in your favor!
  5. Can anyone please shed more light on what your programs are telling you? No one seems to know anything...
  6. Hey Jennystudentrn, You are right, we have been online. It appears we are still waiting on the final decision as to how clinical hours will be tackled, but I have full confidence in that the board of nursing will relay the best option.
  7. Hey cynhart, honestly 66 miles is do-able if you don't mind driving and waking up early to beat traffic - and be in class at 8am. One of our classes currently starts at 8am and that same day stretches out till about 4pm. The curriculum is on the website, so for first semester classes are distributed between two days and then a 3rd day for the clinical rotation. Our class schedule didn't become solid until about 2 weeks prior to the first day, so you will see how things look until then because changes can always happen. Also, I think that if you decide to move closer, you will have at least 1.5 weeks before it goes full speed to make up your mind then. There are plenty of people that do a type of commute, so don't let it stop you. Good luck!! ?
  8. Did you figure it out? ? Any insight anyone?
  9. I've been so teary eyed since I read the good news (for the OC). I am so grateful and like others must feel as well: privileged! I was in the shoes of many of you still waiting on the good news not too long ago, and look at how God blesses!! I wish you all the very best. As for those that are part of this new journey like me, I can't wait to commence it with you all ? .
  10. Congratulations to all the new anteater nursing students!
  11. Official rejection with a good luck with your studies...i'm sorry, which studies??? Haha!
  12. I was checking my email wayy too much today . Not proud of it one bit! Oh, it was a general check-up, dirtyrice. Everything is good back in there, by the way :D.
  13. Oh totally! I got the drops in sometime before 3:33pm and by 4:45pm I was good to drive... got home, and took the "sunglasses" off -just had to let the adjusting take its time. By now, it is safe to say I survived my first procedure of this kind. And thank you so much!! I absolutely appreciate the positive vibes! I REALLY hope we all get a sudden dilation of our pupils while we read about our interview invites! In the meantime, gonna grab a cup of tea haha!
  14. Thanks dirtyrice! I seem to not want to look up at my surroundings still. Makes me feel very intimidated to say the least haha. And that's funny! Right? Let's just all concentrate on this SoCal rain! Nature first!
