cool! Are you from BC, Alberta..? Did you apply recently? I got my application in on Dec 31. Kinda late for my standards but I wasn't sure if I wanted to apply yet

Nope I am not from Canada... applied as an international student!

Hmm I applied in mid-December I think, they still haven't accepted/rejected me, they're still requesting documents..

Don't worry you weren't late, the deadline is march 1st i think

Are you from BC? Did you apply to nursing programs there?

Oh neat! Yes I'm from BC. I applied to Douglas (priority registration for potential nursing applicants), Vancouver Island uni, and currently finishing my UBC Okanagan application. I highly doubt I'll get into VIU though because their admission average may not work out with me... I'll take any program I get into, fingers crossed! Btw, do you mind telling me where you're from?

Ohh that's great! I wanted to apply to BC so bad but none of the nursing programs accept international students there :/ U of A is my number 1 choice now so I am praying I get in!

I am Palestinian but I live in the UAE! What about you? Your name sounds Arabic :)

Darn you pre-calc 11 mark! If it weren't for that grade, I would've been a solid 86% in grade 11 courses. Looks like I'll have to wait and see if I can get acceptance with a couple grade 12 courses I've just completed.

My bear tracks said the same thing. I contacted the U and they informed me that the reason was because my grade 11 Math transcript they received was not official. So they requested I send the official transcript (it's different where I live, the math course I did is issued on a separate transcript that's why). They received my official transcript 2 days ago and they're now re-evaluating my application :/

Hopefully things work out.

Did you try contacting them? You could ask if they would consider you with your grade 12 interim grades

ohhh I see. Well its good that worked out... I just finished bio and eng 12 but I'm waiting on my eng provincial exam mark to release on my transcript and blend my in class mark. I'm planning to update my marks on my application as soon as my transcipt updates. What number did you call?

Ohh I meant I sent them an email, not called them. But if you want to call you can try the admissions office. I did call the admissions office before when i was starting my application and they were super helpful. Their number is 780-492-3113
