Aug 17, 20178 yr Experts Well, education is a product that you are purchasing. Am unsure that I understand what you are asking? You want a FREE DNP program?
Aug 17, 20178 yr Experts Why would anyone think a doctoral program would be offered for free? Now ... there are grants, etc. that can help cover the cost of tuition for qualifying students in some universities -- particularly for PhD programs. Is that the type of thing you mean, OP?
Aug 19, 20178 yr Author There are precedents. The University of Oakland in Michigan and the University of Texas, Houston offered tuition-free DNP programs a few years ago for their initial classes. Does anyone know of any school offering such deal or scholarship currently? Thanks.
Aug 19, 20178 yr Experts I don't know about nursing specifically, but I know that, in many other disciplines, doctoral students work as teaching or research assistants and that covers the cost of their graduate tuition. You might ask about that at specific schools that interest you. Can't hurt to ask.
Aug 19, 20178 yr There are fully funded PhD programs in many disciplines - the student pays no tuition and receives a small stipend. There are fully funded nursing PhD programs, but I am not aware of any fully funded DNP programs.
Hello, are there any tuition free DNP programs out there? Thanks.
