Dianah glad the computer is back to normal

Whatever I had Sunday was gone by yesterday. Had a fairly normal work day, nothing unexpected. While checking my vacation schedule found I had made an error on my vacation request for next month. Glad I found it in time and was able to correct it.

Rest of the day was quiet except for a doctor's appointment. Found out I'm 8 or 9 pounds above where I'd like my weight to be. Surprising, as I don't look heavier and my clothes fit the same. Will have to break out the scale and start losing weight again, which seems to be an ongoing thing for me

Today should be a pretty ordinary day, apart from grocery shopping after work. Nothing unusual going on today at work

Going to be considerably cooler today, in the upper 50s

I quickly posted my sky photo from this morning because I thought it was interesting. Not especially unusual, but striking when I walked out the door.

That is beautiful, Ado!

Joe, glad you are feeling better. Yah, I know the feeling of "I need to lose ____ pounds!" Nice, though, that your clothes fit the same. Maybe you have put on muscle?

I scared the cats by vacuuming yesterday, but it had to be done. Dh monitored them and very soon after I was finished, they were "normal" again. Recovered nicely. Today will just piddle around the house, doing chores here and there. We have soup in the freezer, so I don't need to make anything. I don't plan on going to the grocery store for a few days, either. We are blessed to have what we need and even what we want. I do recognize this as a blessing.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Have a good afternoon and evening!

Goodness, it is Cinco de Mayo! That confirms my plan to make enchiladas with some of the chicken I have frozen.

Yes, I did see that No Stars posted on an older thread so surely she will find her way to us soon.

I had Twin A take Sam to the vet yesterday -- I think I mentioned this -- in part because I wanted to know if there was a physical reason he isn't eating dry food. He does have a lot of tartar and an ulcer so they're recommending a "dental" which will be $$$$. I think we have to do it, though. Here we are trying to reduce expenses. (part of the motivation to move back to dry food). He has lost some weight, too, from right at 15 lbs to 13.5.

Since he'll be under anesthesia, I wonder if they would give him a microchip that lets them scan it for his temperature, like Ilsa has? More $$ I guess but I think I'll ask.
