whats it like to travel nurse. do you have to stay in hotels or do they provide room and board. how often do you travel and what kinds of time off do you have. do you get like a month off a year. someone mentioned that in my last post about travelling nurse and i was interested.

Specializes in just about everything.

usually you take a 3 or 6 month contract at a certain hospital. You're trated as regular staff. The company usually has apartments or housing ready for you, if not they will put you in a hotel. You work shirft just like any other hospital. You can usually stay as long as you want, by extending your contaract, or move too another area or hospital. There are so many opportunities out there. It's good if you're single and are not sure sure you want to settle down at. If you don't like a place, stay you're 3 months and move on. They have alot of different places to work. google travel nursing and talk to the recruitures. ia m always getting call. Also some places offer bonuses after your conrtact is thru. some are quite a bit of money depending on the place. It's great to find out where and what you want to do. I think you'd love it.:yeah:
