Transition to professional practice programs for enrolled nurses in SA

Hello,

Are any of you who work in acute care in SA aware of a TPPP for enrolled nurses?

I'm very interested in this but have only managed to find out that TQEH has offers it. I'm going to try contacting the other major hospitals and possibly the SA Health Dept but thought some of you might be aware that your facility offers the program.

Thanks,

Chris

Did you train through TAFE?

Royal Adelaide Hospital had many ENs there doing clinicals, and were introducing a new EN training program (especially for indigenous nurses to encourage them to go into nursing) in 2008 when I left RAH.

Call them on: (08) 8222 4000 (switchboard) and ask for the nursing recruiter there for ENs to get more info.

The Repat also runs a Transition program for Enrolled Nurses. It's 7 months long with 2 rotations. :-)
