Transferring RN License

My husband is being relocated for work in January 2016, which means we will be moving from Illinois to Mississippi. However, this will only be for one year, and as I am am expecting our 2nd child in February we are planning on me staying at home all of next year. My RN License in IL is due for renewal in 2016, but since I am not planning on working in MS next year what should I do to renew it? Will IL renew my license, although I am not actually living in IL? Thanks for any help!

    Yes. As long as you meet whatever requirements IL has for renewal, you will be able to renew your IL license.

    Just be sure to do your 20 hours of continuing education before next May.
