Sorry if this gets a little confusing and long.
Right now I live in Texas and am working on a med-surg floor as an LVN. I'm in school working on my RN and will graduate in 3 weeks (woohoo!) After that time I will receive my GN permit and test for my RN as soon as I feel that I am ready.
Hopefully in the early spring, I will be moving to Michigan. I've been advised by many people that it is easier to take boards in the state you graduated and then transfer your license - besides, I'm not ready to move until around April.
My question is - what do I need to do to transfer my RN license from Texas to Michigan? I have looked on both BON websites and didn't really find any helpful information.
Can anyone help me??? Thank you!!!
