$130 tote bag for class

I am reviewing the list of program cost, and there is a Nursing Tote Bag for $130. Is this a special kind of tote bag or will any bag do?

There is a secret compartment inside that you access for a printed list of all answers to tests given in the program.

You need to specify your program/ school. Maybe others from your program will know but my guess is that it has supplies you'll need in it. My program requires no such thing.

It's for the GCC Weekend program. That makes sense........maybe it has supplies already in it.

thanks,I haven't received anything yet even though I am about to start in the summer at gatewaycc.I was calculating the costs of all the books required, including the tote bag and it added up to more than $1300.the cost definitely increased from what I was told.Good luck to you!

It could be a tote bag filled with stuff to practice with in lab, like catheters, trach suction kits, sterile water, etc.

Our list estimates between $1500-$2000 for block 1. We received the flyer for the book bundle, that is $770. I don't know if they are including the cost of the physical/bloodwork/immunizations in their estimate, but that will run appx $500 or so. Plus the CPR class, scrubs, shoes, stethescope, and oh, yeah, tuition of $760.

I estimated the cost of the books only. It doesn't even include the shots, scrubs, steth, and all the other little things we might need along the way. And the tuition will be increased this fall!yikes.Did you get your schedule and location for the clinicals? I am little impatient these days waiting for any info about my program.

I don't have my schedule yet. They told me it would be a few days after they received my form, which I faxed last week. So, any day now. I'm dying to get it, too, because i need to figure out my childcare....another expense.

I still have to get my financial aid worked out. I received a notice that I don't qualify for anything because I have a bachelor's degree, unless I fill out 3 forms to appeal.

I don't qualify for aid either because I have my Bachelor's degree as well. What kind of forms can you fill out to appeal? I've never heard of that so I'm just curious =)
