ASU is trying to receive funding for a program that caters to those of us who already hold a degree in a different field! The advisor that I spoke with stated that she should find out in July/August if she has received funding for the program. I have an "unofficial" checksheet that has the prereqs to the program. Email me if you want me to send it to you =) [email protected] I know NAU has a program and I'm not sure about U of A, but since I have kids, I can't pick up and relocated. I'm really hoping the ASU will have their program up and running soon!

Does anyone know what clinical sites are used for the Maricopa Community College Nursing Program? Do all schools have the same site or will the site depend on the school you attend? I'm trying to figure out which schools to put on my list when I apply and a lot will depend on where clinicals take place. Any information you can provide will be appreciated =)

Is anyone else waiting it out for the ASU post-bacc nursing program to start? I am hoping they will get the funding needed to get the program up and running. I already have my degree in a different field so waiting the two PLUS years to get into a MCC program just seems like too long. I received an unofficial nursing program checklist and have started working on the pre-reqs. Anyone else waiting?

Is Central Arizona College anywhere near you? I know they have a nursing program. I'm not sure of the waitlist time though.

For all those in BIO 201 at PC, the class is now up on Blackboard! The instructor emphasizes how we need to get the digital text and the hard copy of the text is optional, but I don't know how I feel about spending $130.00 in editition to the $80 I spent for the hard copy. Does anyone know if the same books are used in BIO 202?

It wasn't on there as of last night. The instructor said she hopes to have it up by tomorrow. I went ahead and ordered the hard copy of the text. The online version would have hurt my eyes too bad! Anyone else in the class?

Can someone please tell me what the name of the book is for BIO 201 at PC? I start class on Monday and have the ISBN number, but everytime I search for it, I just get results for the access code. What is the exact name of the book? Thanks in advance!! =)

I don't qualify for aid either because I have my Bachelor's degree as well. What kind of forms can you fill out to appeal? I've never heard of that so I'm just curious =)

I spoke to one of the advisors from ASU a few weeks back and she said she won't find out if she has received funding for this program until later this summer. I'm hoping that funding goes through though...I'd love to get my second degree from ASU =)
