hello everyone! my name is erika & i'm a 23 year old female & also a mother to a precious 8 month old baby girl! here is my situation. i've been accepted into an lpn & rn program, the lpn program is a year long, & the rn program is 3 years long & i'll end up with a diploma in nursing because it's a hospital program. i really desire to go straight through the rn program, but here lately i've been having doubts about it and just thinking about doin the lpn program & bridging shortly after i graduate. i'm posting this because i would just like to hear other people's opinions or what you all think? i know you guys can't decide for me, but it's nice to hear from others every now & then! my goal is to be an rn before my daughter is school age, so i can provide for her on my own like i want to. right now, i'm living at home with my parents & my sister, so daycare is not an issue, nor is paying for school. if anyone out there would give feedback i would greatly appreciate it! btw, i'm new to allnurses & i love it so far!!!!
