What do you use for time symbols?
º = hour, ' = minute, " = second.
A colleague tried to tell me " = minute. Please clarify.

The way you have it is correct.

How about hour= hour
minute=minute
and seconds=seconds?
Reduces error, ambiguity, and confusion?
Just my 2 cents...

I like this way much better. I agree with JCAHO's goal to reduce error by having "do not use" abbreviations. There are a lot of abbreviations that look like one another and it just gets confusing! With computer charting their is really no need to use abbreviations as much.
