Time for a change

I've been a nurse for 30 years.  For the last 23 years I've been in the OR.  It was a dream of mine when I was in nursing school.  I have loved it all these years until recently.  The environment has become so toxic. I think it's time to move on, but I don't know where I could possibly go from here.  I definitely don't want to do floor nursing.  Has anyone left the OR for another specialty?  Is the change difficult? I'll take any advice!  Thanks!

Consider a position with an OR equipment company.....

Hello perhaps you should look at other ambulatory facilities or hospitals. Or are you also just tired of what you're doing? Endoscopy? I am a Mother Baby Nurse and was thinking about the OR but I don't want to deal with nasty doctors even though thank God the doctors I come across have been very nice to me. It's coming up to a year did you find your new position?
