The day before I went over some basic last minute stuff, but only from like 8am-12pm on and off. All along I thought the day before the nclex I would be going crazy studying but that wasn't the case at all. I felt by the last week I was just so burnt out and so ready to take the nclex and get it over with. I think what helped calm me down was hearing that some of my friends, who I did better than throughout nursing school were passing with only 75 questions.

I would not recommend doing a whole days worth of studying the day before the nclex. NO WAY! Take it easy the day before. You'll do great! Good luck!

Cool, thanks for the feedback!

Also I've noticed lately that I feel burnt out now. I just don't feel like reading or doing questions. Sure I force my self to do it and I'll do it!

Is it because the day is coming soon? I feel like im ready but for some reason, i don't have the energy like i did before i was prepping? :banghead: OMG! is this a bad sign? ahhhhh!

The day before the exam, you should not be looking at anything. The worst possible thing that you can do is try to cram for this exam.

Books should be closed by 1200, the day before that final day. So Sunday morning should be your last time to look at anything.

Take the time for yourself, your brain needs time to absorb everything.

Seriously- take a mental health day. Do something fun, don't touch a single study-related item. Your brain will feel so much better if you give it a chance to relax and enjoy itself a little.

The best thing that I can recommend is take a day of relaxation. Don't pick up anything the day before. Focus on calming yourself before you take the test. Do something you enjoy and relax. Get to bed early and make sure you eat breakfast in the morning. :) Have faith and confindence in yourself. I know it is hard to do when you are freaking out but you wouldnt' have made it through nursing school if you weren't good enough. Good luck
