Thank you notes?

Published

I just completed an interview for as ABSN program and am wondering if I should send a thank you note. It was a group interview and we interviewed with most of the school's faculty (about 15 in all). Would I send each individual a thank you card (this seems a little daunting) or, should I send one and address it to "The faculty and staff of _____ nursing school"

Thanks!

I always wrote individual thank you notes to each committee member.

Once I got started, it wasn't as intimidating as I was as afraid it would be.

And, yes, it really does make a difference.

I say write individual notes to each person. Yes, it might be a little long but it will also tell them that you are taking this seriously. Will it do any good, maybe but when you get out in the field I do believe it does make a difference after interviewing for positions. I am a thank you note kind of guy. I wrote a half page or more letter to each of my instructors and instrumental staff members for my graduation. I got letters of recommendation from each of them.
