4th of July Friday 2025

Tweety glad the repairs to his place are underway

Dianah that's cool that you're going to be on TV

Ado nice that your church does stuff like that

Stars glad she spent much of the day sleeping

Work got a bit busy yesterday, with a new case and having to cover for the coworker who was off, but I was pretty good at keeping my cool despite the extra work

After work went to happy hour with the gay group.  Small attendance, probably because of the holiday.  Theme was crafts, spent time working on a puzzle, something I have not done in a long time, kind of interesting

Got up a bit earlier than usual this morning for some reason.  Heard some fireworks, weird that people would do that this early in the morning

Today going to try and get out for bird watching if I can avoid the rain.  Will do some cooking for the potluck next week.  Otherwise plan to take it easy

Going to be in the low 90s today, rain possible in the morning

    Good morning!

    Looks like it's going to be a rainy day off and on today.  Got a lot of rain yesterday.  Apparently our year-to-date totals for rain are behind average so rain is welcome.  Apparently though some places got too much yesterday and streets flooded on the beach.  Usually they receed quickly but drivers sometimes get caught up in it.  

    Slept in more that I wanted to since I have to go to bed early to work this weekend.  Did a few things around the house.  It's wash the sheets day and not laundry was left in the dryer.  LOL

    93 degrees feels like 103 degrees, 50-something% humidity and no rain.

    No plans.

     

     

    Happy 4th of July. Mild day, in the 70s, I put up our flag, went for a short jog, did some gardening. Made a quick trip to grocery store for ingredients to make potato salad. I also got a small watermelon for Dh and the dogs to share. And a Marion berry pie. 
    No plans for tonight, other than watching the fireworks go off around us, and comforting the dogs.

    Hello all, and Happy Fourth of July!

    It is 93 degrees out, humidity 24%.  I just returned from yet ANOTHER trip to the grocery store, for just a few fresh items I failed to note that we needed when I did yesterday's grocery trip.  We have no plans for the "holiday" today, just laying low and staying cool, man.  ?

    I have been watching Young Sheldon via Netflix.  Interesting show.  

    There's not much else going on here.  My prayers are with the ppl in central Texas with the flooding.
